Children

When traveling to Nicaragua with minors under 18 years of age, each minor will need to have a parental permission slip, signed by both parents, authorizing both the travel, as well as medical treatment for the minor under the administration of the trip leader. This document must be notarized by a notary public, and must be carried by the team leader at all times.  A copy of a sample letter of permission is located here. Remember to change the name of the minor, as well as include the names of the parents at the bottom.  For any minor with severe allergies or medical needs, a complete list of medical issues and medications must be given to the team leader before the trip.
